There are many reasons why the Xiaopeng G6 is so popular, but I never thought that one day it would be “detonated” by a missile engine.
The thing is that during Iran’s missile launch at Israel, a liquid rocket engine component of a Meteor-3 ballistic missile fell from a high altitude and hit the front cabin (hood area) of a Xiaopeng G6 parked on the street in the Israeli city of Elad.
(On-site surveillance video shows that the falling object hits the vehicle accurately at high speed)
The point is that the front of the car was completely damaged by the missile engine falling from high altitude. The vehicle was charging when it collided. There was no electrical system failure caused by external impact, and there was no fire. Although the front of the car was seriously damaged, the cabin structure remained intact and the windows were not broken. What quality!

In March 2025, the battery pack of the Xpeng G6 withstood 10 consecutive rounds of bullets from a 22-caliber rifle in a laboratory test, without catching fire and still being able to drive normally after being installed back in the vehicle.
In terms of vehicle safety, the Xpeng G6, with CIB battery-body integration technology, obtained the Euro NCAP five-star safety certification in 2024.
An international automotive observer commented: “Who would have thought that an electric car could survive such a severe impact intact? This completely changed my perception of Chinese cars.”
