Binder PVDF is an important component of the positive and negative electrodes of lithium-ion batteries. It is used to bind active materials and between active materials and current collectors. It is a macromolecular polymer material. Its performance determines the bonding force between the positive and negative active materials of the battery and between the battery and the matrix, which directly affects the internal resistance, capacity, cycle and safety performance of the battery.
Technical requirements for lithium-ion battery binders:
1) Maintain thermal stability when heated to 130-180°C during drying and dehydration
2) Can be wetted by organic electrolytes
3) Have good processing properties
4) Not easy to burn
5) Be stable to LiClO4, LiPF6, etc. in the electrolyte and by-products such as LiOH and Li2CO3
6) Have relatively high electronic ion conductivity
Main Parameters:
- Purity (%) >99.5;
- Water content (%) ≤0.1;
- Melting point (℃) 160~180.
Storage conditions: Store in a sealed container at room temperature
Shelf life: 2 years from the date of production
Recommendation 1: This product is suitable for positive electrode binder of lithium-ion batteries
Recommendation 2: It is recommended to store in a sealed container in a ventilated, dry, dark and cool environment to prevent water and moisture absorption
