Sulfide solid electrolytes, lithium phosphorus sulfur Li6PS5CI are used in solid-state lithium batteries. In sulfide electrolytes, sulfur replaces oxygen. On the one hand, it increases the unit cell volume and expands the size of the Li+ transmission channel, weakens the structure’s attraction and binding to Li+, and increases the carrier concentration. Therefore, the ionic conductivity of sulfides is relatively high among several solid electrolytes. However, on the other hand, it is easy to produce toxic gases, and its stability in wet air needs to be improved.
