Product Notes for Alumina Boats (Corundum Boats):
1.Forming Process:
The alumina boat is manufactured using slip casting or die-casting techniques and sintered at 1800°C. Minor dimensional deviations may occur due to high-temperature firing.
2.Temperature Resistance:
Maximum working temperature: 1600°C.
3.Pre-use Drying:
Before first use, please bake the alumina boat in an oven at approximately 105°C for 120 minutes to remove any residual moisture.
4.Heating/Cooling Rate:
Do not heat or cool too quickly.
When the temperature is below 1200°C, the rate of change should be less than 5°C/min.
When above 1200°C, the rate of change should be less than 4°C/min.
For cooling, it is recommended to use power-controlled (regulated) cooling to avoid thermal shock.
5.Avoid Direct Flame:
Do not use blowtorches, acetylene torches, or alcohol lamps for direct heating, as uneven heating may lead to cracking or explosion.
6.Lid Function:
Alumina boats with lids are designed for dust prevention only. The lid is not airtight—please take note.
