Product Name: Ceramic Büchner Funnel
Material: Ceramic
Color: White
The Büchner funnel has excellent thermal shock resistance, high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and high corrosion resistance.
It is a ceramic instrument used in laboratories for filtration using vacuum or negative pressure suction. The Büchner funnel is an oblate cylinder with numerous small holes in the bottom and a narrow, tubular outlet at the bottom. To use it, filter paper is placed on the bottom of the cylinder, the funnel is inserted into the top opening of a Büchner flask, and the port is sealed (for example, with a rubber cup). The Büchner flask has a side-vent system. The solid-liquid mixture to be separated is then poured into the top opening. The liquid component is drawn into the beaker under negative pressure, leaving the solid component at the top.
