High and Low Temperature Resistance:
It can withstand temperatures up to 250°C and -196°C, while maintaining 5% elongation.
Corrosion and Contamination Resistance: It is inert to most chemicals and solvents; its metal element blank value is low.
High Lubricity and Non-Stick: It has the lowest coefficient of friction among solid materials and the lowest surface tension among solid materials, resulting in a resistance to adhesion.
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), commonly known as a “non-stick coating” or “easy-to-clean material,” is a material that is resistant to acids, alkalis, and various organic solvents, and is virtually insoluble in all solvents. PTFE also offers high-temperature resistance and an extremely low coefficient of friction, making it an ideal coating for easy-to-clean water pipe linings. PTFE products are made from PTFE resin, cold-pressed and then sintered. They exhibit excellent corrosion resistance, self-lubrication, and non-stick properties. Consequently, they are resistant to nearly all chemicals and possess properties such as wear and pressure resistance and a low coefficient of friction.
