The product is a binder for negative electrodes of lithium-ion batteries. It is a copolymer produced by core-shell emulsion polymerization technology with butadiene and styrene as main monomers and the introduction of polymerizable emulsifiers. It is a milky white aqueous dispersion with a blue luster. This product has good chemical and mechanical stability, strong adhesion, high peel strength, significantly improves cycle performance, and helps to extend the battery life.
Product Features
- High viscosity: Special polymerization process improves the cross-linking degree of latex, large molecular weight, strong bonding, and strong bonding peeling strength;
- Suitable for fast charging: The higher the elastic modulus and strength of SBR, the lower the negative electrode expansion rate;
- High elastic modulus and high fracture strength, try to reduce SBR in the process of adjusting the material ratio to improve the cycle life of the battery;
- Flexibility: It has a certain flexibility and can withstand the bending of the electrode and the volume change of the active material particles;
- Good wettability: The better the wettability of the electrolyte and SBR, the more conducive to the conduction of lithium ions between the interfaces;
- Different SBRs have different wettability with the same electrolyte. Selecting SBR with good wettability will improve the battery performance to a certain extent.
